Refund Policy

At Drive Yourself, we strive to provide a fair and transparent refund experience. Please read our policy carefully before making a booking.

Cancellation & Refund Schedule

No-show (customer does not arrive) No Refund

Security Deposit Refund

  • The security deposit is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition as delivered, with the same fuel level, and on time.
  • The deposit will be refunded within 2–3 working days of vehicle return after inspection.
  • Deductions from the deposit may be made for: damage to the vehicle, fuel shortfall, traffic challan/penalty, excessive cleaning charges, or late return fees.
  • If repair costs exceed the security deposit, the renter will be liable for the additional amount.

Breakdown / Vehicle Unavailability

  • If Drive Yourself is unable to provide the booked vehicle due to an unforeseen breakdown or technical issue, a full refund or a substitute vehicle of equal or higher category will be offered.
  • Drive Yourself shall not be held liable for any indirect losses (travel expenses, hotel bookings, etc.) arising from vehicle unavailability.

Early Return

  • If the vehicle is returned earlier than the booked period, no refund will be provided for the unused rental days.
  • The minimum rental charge of 24 hours will always apply.

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (cash, UPI, bank transfer) used at the time of booking.
  • Refunds may take up to 5–7 working days to reflect depending on the payment mode.
