Security Deposit Refund
- The security deposit is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned in the
same condition as delivered, with the same fuel level, and on time.
- The deposit will be refunded
within 2–3 working days of vehicle return after inspection.
- Deductions from the deposit may
be made for: damage to the vehicle, fuel shortfall, traffic challan/penalty, excessive cleaning charges, or
late return fees.
- If repair costs exceed the
security deposit, the renter will be liable for the additional amount.
Breakdown / Vehicle Unavailability
- If Drive Yourself is unable to
provide the booked vehicle due to an unforeseen breakdown or technical issue, a full refund or a substitute vehicle of equal or higher category will be
offered.
- Drive Yourself shall not be held
liable for any indirect losses (travel expenses, hotel bookings, etc.) arising from vehicle unavailability.
Early Return
- If the vehicle is returned
earlier than the booked period, no refund will be provided for the
unused rental days.
- The minimum rental charge of 24
hours will always apply.
Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed to the
original payment method (cash, UPI, bank transfer) used at the time of
booking.
- Refunds may take up to 5–7 working days to reflect depending on the payment mode.
